Beginning Tuesday, June 17, and running through Saturday, June 21, 2014, the 7th Annual East Pennsboro Emergency Carnival will be open at 5 PM for community members to enjoy rides, food, music, helicopter rides, and fireworks. The carnival will be located at Adams-Ricci Park, at 100 East Penn Drive in Enola. There is no admission, free parking, and guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets to relax in the grass during the carnival and fireworks.
The food vendors will open at 5 PM, and among other things, there will be Perogies, Philly cheese steaks, Sweet Italian sausage, pizza, pulled pork BBQ, hot dogs, burgers, and desserts such as funnel cakes, fried Oreos, ice cream, and more. At 6 PM every night, the 16 amusement park rides will open, and live bands will be playing from 7 – 10:30 PM. There will also be helicopter rides over Enola on Friday and Saturday from 4 PM to dusk. A 10 minute ride costs $35. On Saturday, fireworks will go off at 9:45 PM.
